However, not all miticide and pesticide out in the market today is as effective as the other.

Purchasing an ineffectual miticide is just a waste of time and money so why not opt to know how to get rid of spider mites naturally, right? Try the following suggestion on how to kill spider mites naturally.

First, ensure that it is really spider mites that attack your garden. Seared looking leaves and staining are among the obvious signs of spider mites. If this sign is already visible get a white sheet of paper and hold it under the branch or plant stem. Softly wobble the branch and look the paper. Look over if it has slow-moving specks. If it has then surely, spider mites are your problem.

Second, if you already determine that spider mites are really your problem you can wait for a couple weeks to see if the problem gets solved on its own. Lady beetles and big-eyed bugs are natural predators of spider mites they can help get rid of spider mites naturally. In spraying miticide ensure that these spider mite predators will be save since they are beneficial to your plan.

Third, the main reason why plant is attack by spider mites is because of dryness. Therefore make certain that your plant is getting adequate water most especially during summer or dry season. Regular watering of plants will get rid of spider eggs and leads to the breakout of silk web.

Fourth, always try to preserve moisture to your plant by keeping them away from the noon sunlight and parched weather. This may work only for potted plant but for plants that are attached to the ground create a movable shield to protect them from the direct heat of the sunlight.

Fifth, if spider mite problem persists make a homemade pesticide to get rid of them. Mix 5 tbsp of liquid dish detergent and 1 gallon of water. Keep spraying this mix to the plant leaves however ensure that you use it also on the underside of the leaves. You may also try the mix of 1part of alcohol and one part of water as pesticide. Rubbing alcohol is poisonous for pests it will surely kill mites on contact.
